Spiders

I like spiders. I don’t feel affection for them, but I respect them. I don’t study them, but I appreciate them. Most people are creeped out by spiders, and I do sympathize: if I walk through a spider’s web, I totally spaz; and if I find a spider crawling on me, I flick it away without a second thought. i, too, am more inclined to leave a spider alone if it leaves me alone and doesn't get in my way.
this started when i was a teenager.
i have often told spiders, "ok - you leave me alone & i'll leave you alone."
i usually don't hold up my end of the bargain.
they are fascinating only for a short while.. then they must die.

i did have some weird black, jumping spider in my house for a couple days. he mostly stayed out of my way. however, one night while we were all playing d&d, he must've decided to play with us. it was hilarious b/c he freaked the DM out! lol anyway, the spider died that night b/c he kept jumping around & getting in ppl's way.

spiders are very interesting.

i think next time i have one, i'll try the ant in a pill bottle for a few days thing.

Just one question: when you killed the jumping spider, how many experience points did you get?
