Sunshine! Blue sky! No clouds! Cool breeze! Fitty degrees!

Man, March's feral cat just morphed into a siamese, and it is gorgeous. This is cause for celebration, having a grilled dinner, and walking around the lake ( Read more... )

Drink a glass of water s-l-o-w-l-y while breathing deeply. Concentrate on drinking the water slowly.

Or eat some peanut butter.

Generally when I can get myself to concentrate deeply on something (thereby forgetting the hiccups) I am cured. I used to say the ABCs backward, but I can do that without thinking now, so it's no help.

See, my Mom always used to tell me that drinking water slowly would fix it, but it never does. =/ I don't know why.

I've never tried the peanut butter thing, but I do love me some peanut butter.

Lessee... my favorite methods are to either hold your breath for a long time or to drink a glass of water while plugging your nose. I don't know how it works, but it's never failed me yet! :)

Hah, it doesn't seem like it makes a lot of sense, but I'll try it! Thanks!

If silly cats that eat the plant won't get affected and get sick, I could steal one from you.

Hmmm... I don't know if it'll make them sick? I doubt it, but I can do a bit of lookin' to find out. The leaves are really thick and waxy, and actually quite pretty but I don't know what that means in terms of felines.

One way to avoid kitty-knawing is by hanging the plant though?

I actually don't think I have the patience for that sort of thing. I want my hiccups gone and I want them gone NOW. Slow but steady does not win the hiccup race in my book.
