Seriously, guys, what's with the complaints? First bed size, and now this?

I find the Crimson editorials and op-eds infuriating. Clearly the people who write these have not seen the dorms at public universities or Asian universities, where there can be 4-6 people living in a room the same size as my bedroom. Suck it up, people ( Read more... )

I do think, however, that Harvard housing (and probably most university housing, for that matter) is of a lower quality than what you could find for a similar price elsewhere. For $10,000 or whatever a year, you could probably have a decent apartment nearby. Maybe not a one-bedroom, but you wouldn't have to share a room with anyone. However, this is probably more reflective of college housing in general than Harvard specifically.

Anyway, dude, have you SEEN the roaches in Lowell? And the flooded tunnels? That alone should be enough to spur (or demand) renovations.

AND your own kitchen. I cannot stress how fantastic having a kitchen is.
