"So, lunch?" asked Truly suddenly, perking up at the idea of Don actually taking a break. He sighed and looked at her then looked at his watch.
"I don’t know, Tru," said Don disappointedly. "I’d love to, really, but I’ve got so much work to do...."
"Not a problem," said Truly. "Dinner? Later?"
"Sounds good," said Don, leaning over and kissing her quickly. He looked around her as Aiden walked up to him, raising her eyebrow at Truly curiously. "Shit, I gotta go."
"'k,"said Truly, giving him an empathetic smile. She stood up and turned around, tilting her head in Aiden’s direction. "Aiden?"
"Truly, I thought that was you!" said Aiden happily, Truly gave her a quick hug and turned to Don.
"You never told me you worked with Aiden."
"You never told me Truly was your girlfriend."
"I never knew you guys ever knew each other."
"We go to lunch on Tuesdays," said Truly, pushing her hair out of her face. She turned to Aiden excitedly. "Oh this is perfect! Black mail?"
"Please tell me how he is in bed. I need better dirt on him."
"This is uncomfortable," muttered Don, standing up and walking past them with Truly and Aiden smirking after him.
"Do you have a case?" asked Truly, looking at Aiden hopefully. She shook her head.
"For gossip? My case wait."
