Woah, I just realized that I haven't done a post completely about video games for quite a bit. Have some free time, so I might as well. :) Uhhh, spoilers under the cut - if you absolutely don't want to know anything about FF13 before you play it.

Yeah, uh, her pairing makes no sense now. Not that it did in the first place anyways. xD Boy, I would've liked to see her reaction when they announced that Snow already had a fiancee. Judging from the screenshots, it seems like their romance happens over the course of the game, though it could also be a flashback. Also, apparently there's a part in the story where Serah gets turned into a crystal (?!), so I'm guessing she dies. Same thing for Sazh's son. :<

Ah, yes, that Final Fantasy music concert. I actually live in Vancouver, but I don't think I'll be getting tickets and going since I doubt school is going to get any less busy for me. D:

I don't remember exactly, but aren't l'Cie and Fal'Cie kind of like... two opposing factions? I wish that new trailer was in English... I can pick out bits and pieces of the Moonspeak, but nothing really important. D:

I finally went and bothered reading up about the whole l'Cie/Fal'Cie thing a few days ago while waiting for the new trailer to appear on the JPN site for the game. Supposedly the fal'Cie are the lesser gods of the FF13 world (I think the world is named Pulse? I forgot). The fal'Cie choose people to do their bidding or fulfill some goal they devise, these people are called "l'Cie". The l'Cie are discriminated by the general human populace since they're afraid that they'll destroy the floating city (Cocoon) in which they live. Cocoon also has a fal'Cie of its' own, which is separate from the fal'Cie who overlooks the actual world.

I think there's subtitled versions of the new trailer on Youtube already. Haven't watched any myself, but I've seen posts on Gamefaqs directing to them.
