If you've gotten an e-mail from me asking for a favor, the odds are very, very good that it was a scammer using my address. Some people responded to it and were asked to get iTunes gift cards for my nieces. (My brother, father of my actual nieces, got one of these e-mails, got that answer to his reply, and told me.) It's not me

I got one of those emails. I figured it was spam because, in the unlikely event that you actually did want to ask me a favor, you'd probably say what it was in the email. Or at least give me slightly more information. I hope no one got scammed because of it.
