It's the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine)
I watched the Smallville season finale out of curiosity and actually liked it. Interesting stuff going on, though it would be better and more resonant if I still cared about the characters and didn't think SV's Clark Kent was a hypocrite and a moron. A lot of twisting the knife, a lot of Lex proving himself to be a better man than Clark, a lot of hard decisions, a few turnabouts, and a major cliffhanger. And Clark's inability to be honest with people creates problems he might have averted otherwise.... I could have used less of Action!Lana, but otherwise there was much good. I'll be catching the next season's premiere, though I won't be agonizing over the summer.
