What would you be if you called others

[Scribbles it out.]

If you look and act human, what else could you be but human?

This memory... It raised more questions than it answered. And the only one it answered was that I was skilled in combat.

*brianna, *lezard, stupid memory, *zero, *spring, *above, stop making me question things, *key, i'm so confused, *juliet

... A ghost?

Mine also gave me more questions than answers. I am glad to hear you learned something good about yourself, Lily-san!

Well, that's certainly something I hadn't thought of.

Thank you Spring. I hope your memory was pleasant.

Then it is a possibility!

You are welcome. It was [pentaps] interesting.

I don't believe I'm a ghost.

[Scribbling that out.]

That's good, I hope.

There are many species that resemble Humans, but are not Human, such as the Echani.

However, I have also observed that on places without interstellar travel, such as Earth, to be "human" is more of a state of mind than a plain fact.

I beg forgiveness for my lack of knowledge regarding them; who are the Echani?

Ah, perhaps your right. I truly hadn't considered that.

The Echani are a near-Human species. I have reason to believe that our culture revolves around combat and warfare, but I only have my own inclination and memory to support this.

It is interesting, but it can become problematic when in an environment with many sentient species... to be "human" is often good, while "inhuman" is loathsome and frequently evil, when the word is used in that fashion.

It's better than having no idea of them. Maybe once you learn more, you can tell me more of them?

It's a sad truth. Words could have had such an innocent meaning at one point and then turned to that.
