Cute nuns! Before I forget, I'm going to want one or maybe two tickets. I'll probably forget. Feel free to prod me. Are we likely to run in to each other any time soon? I'll be at MC for community lunch on Sunday, because they're previewing the "early voices" film, and unless we ended up on the cutting room floor, mom and I are in it. -at
Hey there! We were thinking of coming up on Sunday afternoon. Not sure, though. Are they actually showing more than just the trailer for the Early Voices project? If so, I really want to see that. That would be a draw for us to go. I can certainly hold a ticket for you. I do need to get the payment up front, though. They don't like it when you give tickets and don't have the money for them. I'll be at dinner on Monday night as well. I can have a ticket for you then if we don't come up on Sunday. BTW, the fencers want to have a movie viewing in the Science lab/viewing room on Monday, May 12th. Who should I check with about that?
I can give you money whenever I see you. It'll be one ticket. I think the Early Voices viewing is supposed to be the whole thing - at least, they're saying "preview" which sounds more like the whole thing than a trailer. I hadn't thought of the trailer idea. I hope it's not that.
so here's my conflict - my little chorus has been asked to sing at the local geriatric home, and i specifically have been asked by the conductor to perform with the chorus. i was thinking of bagging on the performance, but when it was explained to me that the chorus wouldn't be able to perform three separate songs because i have solos in each of them, i started to reconsider.
i KNEW that there was an issue with that date, but i of course never wrote down my potential performance because i was not sure whether or not i would be performing. now that i have my schedule straight, i'm not sure what i'm going to do.
i enjoyed singing for the little old folks around the holidays. but i'd love to come and hear your lovely chorus sing. but i've also been specifically asked if i can arrange my schedule to attend my chorus' performance.
Well, do what you feel you need to do. As much as I would love you to hear this music, I don't want to you to bail on things you feel you really want to do. I also know that you have a very difficult time making the trip in one day anyway. There is the option of coming to see the dress rehearsal, which is Saturday, the 17th at 10am. I'm guessing that wouldn't really be great painwise and such. I also won't be there as I'm performing with my kids in Peterborough. But it's still an option. We would love for you to come and hear this divine stuff. But do whatever you think is the most important thing for you to be doing that weekend.
