Yup, that's the word for it. I have been angry before about lots of things, and even livid. But I've never been livid that someone has taken my prize tulips without even consulting me. They have been cut and taken, very intentionally cut and taken. Yes, I am quite livid about it.

Right in our front yard. I can barely believe it.
My landlady hasn't a clue how and when it could have happened and is also upset for me. I will be writing a letter to the paper about it. If folks want these flowers so badly, they can grow them themselves! They aren't expensive and can grow in a pot if they don't have any yard space.

Yeah, pissed was a good word for it as well. And I definitely had a beer the night after. I was too exhausted the night of the cutting to imbibe.

And apparently other folks have suffered from similar thefts around here. A neighbor of ours up the street had some of his irises stolen last year. Meh.
