What do you mean by it not being the original question? The one that's written and the one you claimed to be the original one sound like two different questions, albeit similarly phrased.

I mean they changed the question. I saw that someone on my LJ friends page had answered one question, but when I went to answer it myself, it was a different one. I thought perhaps he'd changed it to something that interested him more, but no... there were a couple of other people buried in the answers who'd also answered the original question about a partner having a sex change.

What it looks like happened is they had one question, then used the same ID for a totally separate question, replacing the first.
