Oh my God I still just -- I can't bring myself to do anything other than allow the realising of all of it fully sink in. (But I've been up for almost twenty-two hours now without sleeping, and I need to go to class in seven hours, and I've not yet showered. Oh dear. xD)

I can't sleep either--I just re-watched his speech and I'm so sad, but happy for the US. It's so unreal what just happened. I suspect I'll spot the national paper tomorrow and grin happily.

Sixteen years ago, I walked from the Clinton victory party at the Capitol Hilton to 1600 Goodbye to the darkened windows at the Bush White House.

It was amazing, but I can imagine that last night superseded it.
