I. haaaate. the Colts.

Hmph. Am trying to engross myself in The Lions of Al-Rassan, which is excellent, but - such loathing dominates my heart! Loathing, I say!

Signing off, V.M. Bell

caution: polemicist within, athletics of a sort

Eh, I've been better. I think I've contracted a mild form of senioritis, and pretty much, I just want to go to college. :D

But I'm staying with a friend at Brown University this upcoming weekend, which should be fun!

It's really terrible because my attitude with school is that you either give me back-breaking work and I do it all, thus feeling accomplished, or you just let me skip to summer vacation so I don't have to show up anymore.

I hate having to drag myself to school when, honestly, I feel like it's just not worth it, alas.

This year's Super Bowl was of the suck, the first quarter aside. And I still hate the Colts, man.

I presume this is something to do with Superbowl? :P I fail at American general knowledge.

But The Lions of AL-Rassan sounds interesting; a book? What's it about?

hee, yes, this is Super Bowl I am ranting about. My strange love for American football is an anomaly, really, because (1) I am a girl and (2) someone who, erm, can be a bit highbrow at times, and people who fall into either one of those two categories (or both!) tend to characterise American football as stupid. But I enjoy it immensely, so there you go. :D

It's a sort of AU historical fiction thing set in a quasi-medieval Spain. Political intrigue and religious tensions abound! And I'm still waiting for some romance to happen, damn it. :)

Ah, okay. Lol, I'm a little surprised, I admit! <3 I like to characterise it as stupid, but that's me and most sports as I can't run without failling over. Like Bella from Twilight! *obsessed*

Ooo, sounds good. Political intrigue - FTW.
