You made Junsu sound as if he was, well, supernatural in a way.
I didn't know Jae was tone deaf?

I'm glad you like it; well, it's written through Jaejoong's point of view, and so I get to play around a little; I don't actually know what it's like to have perfect pitch, but almost all of my friends have horrendous relative pitch (as do I) so from talking to them, I think managed to convey what the people who don't understand perfect pitch think of perfect pitch... it's almost supernatural, really, because people unable to discern pitch well really do see perfect pitch as something mysterious.
Jaejoong mentioned somewhere that he used to be tonedeaf but he managed to overcome it. I don't remember where though >.> Sorry.
I'm glad you liked it; thank you for reading ^^

anyway, I really enjoyed it, especially Jaejoong's struggle (how he admires Junsu but also wants to rip that perfectly controlled throat out) (: ♥

Ahh, well, it's meta-ish, but there's no real meaning other than to juxtapose perfect pitch with tone-deafness. It's a juxtaposition of contrasts really; two far ends of a spectrum brought together and contrasted. I'm really glad you liked it! I tried to depict a tone-deaf struggle as well as I could. ^^

I'm glad you liked this fic. :) It was fun to write, putting musical terminology in and playing around with exploring what music would mean. If you liked this fic, feel free to check out my other fics in this 'verse (I believe the tag is multi-part: perfect pitch 'verse, along with some fics in my WES 'verse, which also uses musical terminology.
Thank you for the author rec too; I'll definitely check her out next time I'm in the library. :)
