The Complications of Love
It’s not that Jaejoong doesn’t like the special moments they share, because he really does, but it’s mostly that the other has a tendency to shift in ways he can’t ever anticipate.
And it’s not that he doesn’t like seeing said other, because he really does despite his actions at times. But it’s awkward, especially when the other creeps into his vision on shows and during concerts.
It’s not that Jaejoong doesn’t care for said other. But somehow said other protests mistreatments after mistreatments and Jaejoong is stuck attempting to explain that it’s management, and if he had a choice, said other would only get the best treatment.
But when Junsu laughs, Yunho sighs, Changmin shoots back dry, not-very-witty comments, and Yoochun gives him a sympathetic look that’s not at all sympathetic, Jaejoong turns around and pets his hair and coos, “I love you.”
Because he does love said other.
