Other players are now welcome. The danger has passed. For now.Briefly, Vir closes his weary eyes. The last day and night have passed in a drug-induced blur periodically interrupted by bouts of violent sickness and painful muscle spasms which have only begun to subside in the last hour. Senna now sleeps beside him, her face

"...Directionless so plain to see,
A loaded gun won't set you free.
So you say..."
New Dawn Fades - Moby
====His words so fiery still rush through her mind in a blur of furious raw passion, driven by the need to avenge the many souls lost needlessly. For the memory of her twin, for the memory of her family, his family the remnants that still remain of her people this had to be done. There would be no turning back. No faltering, no hesitation, only the direct spearhead attack that would end it all and finally give her troubled soul the rest she desperately sought ( ... )

"Stay behind me and don't move."
Frightened, a now fully awake Senna obeys. Tiny bugs crawl at the edges of Vir's vision as he struggles to swing his legs off the bed and rise to a sitting position. Only by squeezing the edge of the bed with his hands does he manage to pull himself upright- and before long, his arms begin to shake with the effort of holding that position.
"It's not your way to shoot a prone and unarmed man," he says quietly in Dar. "So I will sit up and preserve your honor. End whatever it is you wish to end, Tir'In. End our hope. End our peace. Bring our peoples to war. Because if you kill me, that is the direction my people will most surely follow." He pauses; then, following an instinct, he adds, "And you know as well as I that they will show little mercy... don't you?"
Vir watches Tir'In's eyes. There is something familiar about them- something that reaches beyond their encounter early the previous day- but he can't quite put his finger on it.

His words on the surface appear to do nothing as she powers up the weapon, but her finger lingers on the trigger as though hesitant to go through with this. Her eyes narrow slightly as she furrows her brow at his final words.
When have they ever shown mercy? There has never been peace between our worlds and you know it. All that there ever has been was moments to catch our breathes, to begin again. You will not trick me this time. I swore to him, I would not fail and I won't.
But if you're not to fail, why the hesitancy? Her thoughts echo in her mind as she stares at him feeling the strange nagging growing once more. His voice...Where had she heard it before?

"Who is he? What has he promised you?" This is not a demand, but a gentle inquiry. "Vengeance? Believe me when I tell you that it's rarely as satisfying as many say." Vir swallows hard. "And I think... that maybe you know that. Otherwise, I would be dead already."
Tir'In's hand moves and Vir notices, for the first time, a line of Centauri symbols on her wrist. His eyes widen, understanding beginning to dawn. A years old memory rises unbidden of sick and wounded Narn huddling together in the spaceport at Yedor for warmth and comfort.
"You've been stamped," he whispers. "You were at Torva. Or Ascari. And then... you were brought to Minbar, weren't you? Great Maker."

Na'Toth has taken G'Rika for the hand and hardly appreciablly squeezed it.
For one instant her heart has stiffened in the breast.
G'Rika has stated this fears aloud.
Emperor? Something happened with Emperor Cotto?
But doctors asserted, that he will recover... that this poison is dangerous only to Narns...
Na'Toth continued to hold her hand.
Easy, G'Rika. We should not show our excitement here.
Na'Toth has seen Roger through glass of hospital chamber and has tried to call to him.
Mr.Smith... What's happened here? Emperor..?

Her path has changed and for once she is grateful for it.
As Na'Toth and G'Rika enter Tir'In stiffens but doesn't say a word. She isnt' sure how to respond to this, to their presence but her eyes are filled with silent apology and shame though she stands proud.
