Well, today was hard. I went in to work at 12:30 and had to wait until three o'clock to receive information about my grandfather. Those hours went by so slowly and once the time was there, I was terrified to go find out, ya know? ooh hun, I've just been catching up on my flist and I've read all your posts now and I'm crying now. I feel so sorry for you, your grandad sounds like a lovely person and so does your grandma, it must be so hard. I am so so sorry. Even though we both know it's better for him not to be ill anymore I know it doesn't really help at all. I lost my nana two years ago but it doesn't feel like it. A few weeks ago the grandfather of my close friends died and my own grandma and grandad sound similar to yours - such a cute couple, so I really feel for you right now.

Thank you. It's hard but I am working through it with the love of my family. We're a tight knit group.

They are basically real life Sandy and Kirsten Cohen. The way she talks about him... At 77 years old, 50+ years of marriage, they still were crazy in love.
