A few days ago I was talking to someone about a comment I'd left on ONTD a while back about the sad sad story of Zach, often referred to on LJ/Twitter as "the evil-ex"... I appreciate you writing this. Obviously not in the sense of "hey, thanks for writing something that made you sad"...it just made me understand you a little more. I hope that getting all of this out helped you in some strange way. By the sounds of things, though, you've been doing better, so keep up the good work. Onward and upward, etc.

I'm here, I'm reading, and I feel ya. I haven't been through anything as heavy as what you've been through, but I sympathize with how tough it is to break the habit of a guy you want to want you, even if you don't want him anymore. I wonder if anyone will ever solve that mystery?

I'm Melanie (Mel for short), by the way, if I never said that before. :)

And therapy has helped me an awful lot over the years, personally. It totally depends on the therapist you get, so don't give up if you're thinking about trying it again...
