You ever follow a story for ohhh, i don't know, a year? and it's one of the best stories you've ever read and you love every single moment of it... and you wait and you wait and you wait for the last chapter just KNOWING it's going to be the very best thing EVER. I got quite scared then.

That really sucks. It's horrible finishing something that long and thinking 'What if I screwed it up NOW?!' and it's probably even worse when you're a reader and you can't do anything about it. Have other people had the same reaction as you?

What's "Silence"? and yes...there was one but it was a horribly tragic ending and made me choke and cry at the end. I had printed it. I threw it out becasue I knew I would never ever be able to read it again.
Of course I am so so curious as to which story you mean. I can't think of any I read recently that just poo'd out. If you need a good one to read and finish go to Inca. That was powerful. Very very good. Frat never finished either did it? I have still waited for more of that.
I ache more for the ones that have never been finished and were so good.

Silence is a absoluely delightful Orlijah series done by my good friend often_adamanta!

Here is a link to her fic index. She's actually a brilliant writer. go down to the Silence series and read that first, it's my favorite.

I was going to ask about silence, as I don't think I've read it, so thanks for the link. Never heard of Frat.
I'm getting more and more into Orlijah, so if anyone has any good recommendations (I've read Damaged, some of deleerium's stories and a few others) please let me know.
I know exactly what you mean about a story letting you down at the end - what a bummer! But thankfully it's a very rare occurrence.

Well I'm an Orlijah girl so I can point you in that direction. I've written some myself, in my fic index. talesinbloom wrote frat, its not finished yet, but its so gooooood. abundantlyqueer's stuff is good, as is anything by often_adamanta, lisabellex has a couple yummy Orlijah's. Also you can look through the Bloomwood community for others...

There's plenty of good orlijah writers out there...

well this could cheer you up! have you seen daniel radcliffe's clip from Extras? OMG! he's a total pervert! and hilarious! i can't wait to see the whole episode! :D it's not youtubed yet (i don't think), but you can see it on mugglenet.com.

oh and what was it that you read? it wasn't the h/d fic you rec'd me was it? cause you finished that a few weeks ago, right? oh GOD i hope not! cause i started having those same paranoid thoughts about the end of it myself being that i'm FINALLY on chapter 50! and i'm nervous that the end is going to be a HUGE let down!! *flails*

Oh, that's so disappointing. It's also my biggest fear as far as updating Realignment is concerned, which is why I won't post unless I have something I feel ecstatic about.

At least you have lots of good stuff to go back to, to lift you out of that feeling.

Hmmm, no, can't say that I've ever come across one that had let me down, yet. But I'm kind of worried about what direction vshendria is taking with her Borderlines. I think I just might die if Casey and Zeke do not end up with each other.

And I'm very curious as to what fic you're refering to. It's not an Orlijah, is it?
