oh, that must not have been easy decision for sure! but i hope you can manage things and travel to china, then. but i do understand the reason(s) you cancelled the trip.
i just got the information from the school yesterday, that i will be the other one of the applicants to go exchage to korea for next year (now i only have to send the application to the korean uni).. and i was thinking maybe visiting japan in january (as korean unis have winter break from christmas till end of february).. i hope the situation in japan will be better then.
but i will keep my thumbs up for your trip to china♥

Greaaat \o/ We wanted to go to Korea instead but it seems there are typhoons in july :/ I sincerely hope things will be better for Japan by the end of this year... i've just heard about a new earthquake today... but i'm confident in their capacity to get things better. believe me, i can really understand that! ah, true, the weather in korea might not be the best possible in july.. tho we were supposed to have typhoons and rain last summer in tokyo for the whole month we were there, and i think it rained like 15 minutes during one night, so the typhoon seasons are not always as bad as they say :D (of course, if there really are typhoons it may not be that nice)...
i heard about the new earthquake too. but if it's "just" an earthquake, it won't be "that bad"... i think.. ok, it's bad, but like in the last one, it was the tsunami that did the most of the damage, not the actual earthquake or after quakes.. so i'm sure they will manage things well there! *thumbsup*

I'm not the one to say this, but I think I understand what you're feeling now. It was such a big journey for you, but now you have to postpone it.. T___T I hope situation in Japan becomes better soon (earthquakes and tsunami again T__T) and you and your friend will soon have another opportunity to go there and fulfil your dreams. Please don't let such feelings overwhelm you <3
