This was great! Yeah, it's different from what you usually write, but it's still your Chris and Alex, just the emotional side, the dare I say it -- grown-up, mature-ish side? This was dealing with the heavy crap that comes with love and emotional attachment and the strength to let the world know you have a significant other, and it was Alex's POV of remembering their relationship. I think it was a perfectly wonderful fic and should be spread far and wide in order to convert more people to the following of Sabin/Shelly.

Aw, thanks hun! It wasn't actually as hard as I thought it would be to write the more emotional side of them, but it still felt really odd when all I've been writing recently is lots of smut LOL! See, I really wanted something that kind of explored their relationship in a different way, so I'm really glad it worked :)
