Today is awesomely productive.

*I ate breakfast with a few friends at Three Monkeys. Easily the best meal we've had there. Not overcrowded, not too loud, good service, good food. I'll definitely be back for morning meals in the future.

*Hit up Local Harvest for some foods. Got some stripey beets (yum!) and some turnips and some grains, mostly. I love roots and all, but man

I really want to go to Three Monkeys for breakfast --- the menu looked good and cheap (always a good thing). It wasn't smoky in the a.m., was it?

It was definitely tasty. And their bacon is good and thick, which is a deciding factor for me.

I didn't notice any smoke smell at all. The only vices I saw were the egregious fat intake and a bit of Irish whiskey.

I'm super excited about the shoes. I can't wait til they get here.

My hair is aight. It's a bit darker than I though it'd be, but it's still pretty purple. Compared to my usual appearance, I'm practically conservative.

that's awesome! i'll have to figure out what would be good for my balcony, or if i can steal some yard space out back. i'd love to have some soybeans, long beans, mizuna, and shiso. not to mention the beautiful radishes. thanks!

yeah, i just have a limited number of pots on my balcony so i try to pick things that will work will with those conditions. i do remember your corn exploits; i have hard enough time keeping my tomatoes wet enough. but there's some unused space in our backyard space, by our neighbours garage, that i think i'm going to take over. but only with things that are probably not recognizably food to those prone to theft.

and yeah, i am totally excited about a lot of those seed options. i suck at germinating seeds, but i'm going to try again this year.
