Thanks to skeletal13, my hairs are now black and purple and pink. They are the awesomest. Now I just need to doctor an avatar to be more appropriate....

congrats. freshly neoned hairs = faaaabulous feeling. when my pink was fresh (and still had blue streaks in it), i kept getting complimented on my "wig." if i was feeling cranky/drunk/etc, i'd just make eye contact with the person and yank on a handful of hair, demonstrating that it was, indeed, attached to my head.

heh. i'm always annoyed with stupid people, but i hate confrontation so much that i'm really polite about the whole thing. then i look away, refuse to make eye contact, and wander off.

i enjoyed the dewey decimal drinks the other night! i was a big weirdo and didn't talk to any new people, but i'm hoping to get better next month. it's fun to see all the new library-folk out there these days.

Yeah. I mostly can't handle strange men saying shit, but that's nothing new. On the flip side, I do have little kids come up to me in total wonderment. Last week at the Polish Festival, a little boy came up to me, stared at my hair, a did a jig. That was awesome.

Thanks! Yay! No worries, I was shy-ish inward-ish for a big chunk of my life, so I feel ya.

I'm excited for next month.... methinks tomorrow I will try to get some 'net access and see if I can get a location firmed up. (Can't do it now...now is LUNCHTIME!)
