My knitting group is the Urban Knitters. That's kinda like hipsters. They're not so much for the brooding, though. I think it would be hard to brood in a group. It's more of a solitary thing to do.

It was pretty fun. And more than I usually care to do in a day. But at least it was all stuff that I like, instead of stuff that I had to do.

some of the photos on the knitters guild are funny. i had to snicker when i saw one woman had made an "alpaca seaman's scarf."

Although you should have seen some of the stuff they had on. I guess even if they don't get up for the show and share, they like to show off by wearing their handknits. Some were pretty freaking scary. All outdated and poorly fitted and gross. One woman had on a lovely shawl, and there was the lace I mentioned. That was about it.

Not knowing who you are, I'm unable to confirm this. And since I now have hair and was wearing sleeves, I was probably not too memorable.
