The last couple weeks have been nuts (in the good way), so I'm spending a big chunk of this weekend getting caught up on the things I've been neglecting -- including my works-in-progress. (Yes, that does include Percy Weasley: Rogue Demon Hunter.) For now, here are two excerpts from Part 2 of The Geek Rock Series:

And I don't know quite what this fic excerpt is from, because I suck, but the writing is great and I like the characters.

I heard the song on the radio a couple days ago and had to add it to my playlist for this fic. It's just totally perfect on multiple levels. ^_^

It's the (short-lived) X-Files spin-off show, The Lone Gunmen. I have the big dweebie love for that show. The fandom is incredibly tiny, though.

Thanks! That's great to hear. It's been an interesting piece to write so far. The 'universe' of the show presents some intriguing challenges. I especially appreciate the feedback on the characters, since both Meg and Jenna are OCs.

I like her, too. She's a fairly minor character, but she's got lots of personality. ^_^
