My Great Grandfather

This was probably taken around 1915, he was Portuguese, from the Azores Islands, and quite handsome with his piercing blue eyes! There hasn't been another blue-eyed person in our family line, everyone else ended up with brown.

Thanks! I only have pictures of him when he was very old, and bald :-)

May I ask when he died? Did he fight in any wars?

I believe he passed in 1974 and I don't think he was ever in the military.
