This is the last of my Great Grandmother Dessie's photographs. I think, barring any discoveries (which are highly doubtful), this is the last of Dad's family

Grandma Boots was born Beulah Mae and she hated that name so much, that as a kid, she started telling people to call her Boots and it stuck. She's been Boots ever since.
I especially like the ones of your dad on the bike in front of his house. I live in the house my grandparents bought in 1965 and have some great pics of relatives standing by the front door, or on their bike or motorcycle. Great stuff & very familiar.
That's like the pictures we have at my Grandparent's house (Gene and Barbara). They bought that house new in 1963 and lived in it until Grandpa died last July (Grandma died in 2007) and right now we're renovating it to rent it out. It's weird being in that house and I know it's really weird for Mom because she spent her teen years and early adult years there. I like seeing the pictures of it through the years.
Thank you so much for sharing these picts with us. I've come to love seeing picts of Boots through the years. It's a pity there won't be any more, but all the same these are absolutely wonderful.
Yeah, all I have left are Mom's side of the family. There's one 70s album of my parents left that probably has Boots in it, but I don't post those here.
I only have two old albums left, one from the 50s (Mom's childhood album) and one from the mid to late 60s. The rest are 70s and 80s. I'm going to do those two old ones last.
I'm glad you've enjoyed these. I think I'll only be making a couple more posts to this group. I'm glad I'm almost done. This has taken many months.
