How does one get one's hair to do that? It's fantastic!

I'm sure she spent a lot of time on it. She was really in to looking done up all the time!

Boots! I hope this is not a painful question, but is Boots still alive and wearing her hair in amazing ways?

Grandma Boots is still alive. She'll be 89 this year. She has dementia now, sadly, but physically she's still pretty healthy. She lives in a dementia home nearby and does crosswords all day. Sadly, in the 50s Grandma went with a short hairdo, and has had it ever since.

Here she is in 2002 - I think this is the most recent picture I have of her that's been scanned. She's here with Dad and her asshole (thankfully now ex) boyfriend. Grandpa Bob died in 1995.

She still has her lovely smile! Sad about the dementia, I hope she has peace with those crosswords.

She's one of those "happy" dementia sufferers. She loves crossword puzzles and does several a day. She does really well at the dementia home. Every day she wears her nice clothes, makeup and her pearls - she always looks good! She still looks pretty much the same now. She had a lot of plastic surgery in the 70s and 80s so she's still pretty unwrinkled! Hahahaha.
