This was an entire album of 8 X 10 photographs, which is cool, because the details are crisp and sharp. They are all over the map, family-wise and time-wise.

She is one of a kind! She would love it so much if she knew how much people talk about how beautiful she is. Unfortunately, she has severe dementia now and doesn't really process much anymore, so there's no point in telling her. :(

Next time I see her (I don't go visit her often) I will tell her that my friends saw her old pictures and all talked about how beautiful she is. She'll like that.

Was "Boots" an affectionate name for her? If so I'd like to know the story behind it lol

She was born Beulah Mae and absolutely hated that name. She named herself Boots from a very young age, and it stuck.

She would be really angry with me if she knew that in the photo scanning project I used her real name on all of the photographs. Oh well! She'll never know.

Yeah, Beulah Mae hardly conveys the femininity she exhibits.

As usual, these are all amazing!

And my best friend spent a summer in the 1980s taking a pony door-to-door and taking little kids' photos.

Thank you!

I have several pictures of relatives on the brought around ponies. I have my Aunt Leesa above, and one of my Grandfather Bob and his brother Art in 1920 and I have a similar one of Grandma Barbara in some sort of California themed cart from 1926.
