He had a lot on his shoulders at the time, aside from his set burning. He was in the midst of a particularly nasty divorce (which lost him a record-breaking amount of money) and tax disputes. It actually lead to him having a nervous breakdown around the time, poor dear.

Beautiful pictures. I love seeing the other side of legendary comic actors. He was a great man.
