Luke spent Sunday morning arranging his return to Oakdale. He still had a meeting on Monday morning with the design company he’d hired for the pediatric unit, but, other than that, he truly felt that there was nothing that was keeping him in town. For the birthday incident, I do think Luke pushed too far but he was attracted to reid, I can't really blame him ^^
Reid is being scared, he realizes he's been settling down and a relationship with Luke scares him...

i've said it before, and i'll say it again. boys are stupid, throw rocks at them! it was going so well. it's nice that luke has such a good friend in martha. it was nice that luke made the attempt to apologize to reid for his actions. it was very nice that reid had been thinking of luke non stop all morning. it was nice that reid is finally, FINALLY responding to luke. leading with his heart, not his head. and then, luke got a little bit ahead of himself. and we're right back to square one.
