What a sad one, though. I thought the comment that James wrote about allowing Sirius to add his own curses was funny and sweet--and so very brotherly. Terribly angsty, too, to think of Sirius' addition to the letter and to know what happened.
At least the boys had Remus and Lily.

Very sad, of course, at the beginning - and with the hints of darker times to come at the end.
I love all your characterizations in this story! and it's nice to see Lily becoming even more a part of the group, even while it's disturbing to see Peter beginning to fade from it.
