Oh my god! This broke my heart. Your writing is gorgeous and your take on the characters! At first I was totally annoyed by the idea that Sirius didn't like Remus at Hogwarts and then--it's such a gorgeous gesture that that's what the dementors took from him (I mean, obviously really awful for him, but gorgeous in what it implies).
