And so jury duty ended for me after two days of ... well, not much.

August is a good time to have jury duty because the cases that actually go to trial are fewer (judges, lawyers and clients alike want to be on vacation) and so they're less likely to need juries. Today I didn't even get called to panel. I stayed in the Jury Box reading Deathly

Jury duty...THE most boring six hours of my life. But luckily I didn't get picked either. And the check is the best part, of course. ;)

It's really boring, isn't it? Ugh. Thank God for books. Of course the check is the best part. I'm waiting for it impatiently already :D
