I remember this toy, but only because it was the only child's toy besides an old globe kick ball that my great-grandmother had. She had a lot of grandchildren, but not much to amuse them with, hehe!
I remember my grandmother's toys well for the very same reason. Half of them were old Avon bottles! My favorite of those was Tennessee Tuxedo, with his nose stickin' out.
I sure have tried to remember the name of her cold cream. It was very pale blue, as I recall. Or perhaps pink. But opalescent--- is that a word? The internet answers many a mystery about childhood, but it hasn't helped me with that one!

My little sister had one of those. I'd forgotten about Digger, but as soon as I saw the thumbnail for the video I remembered the jingle.
