70th Anniversary: (June 25,1950-June 25, 2020)

This comm acknowledges the Korean War on July 27th (the day of its cease-fire) but since this is the 70th anniversary of the start of the Korean War, I thought I'd mention it today. I decided to choose a non-war film from that year to commemorate the occasion.

As you know, I have it on the calendar for July 27, as it was listed as the appropriate Korean War Veteran's day. I think, had I realized, if this was the 70th anniversary, I would have made it today tho.

Thank you for this post.

You're very welcome! :)

The South Koreans donated masks for COVID-19 to U.S. veterans (and other countries who were part of the U.N. forces).

Boy, the trailer really gives away part of the ending, just to interest the potential audience in that jitterbugger.

Too bad they don't show Gus at work. Or maybe a snippet of the bunch of them gathering to make the heist plan. But then again, we were in the very beginnings of heist films then, so maybe they didn't think that was so much a thing.

Probably not!

Appears giving away too much in the trailer is a timeless Hollywood thing. :D
