Over and over: Lost Boys 1987

This movie was at the downtown theater 17 weeks, a record. Mondays were $1.50 night, regular price $3, amazing prices! My high school best friend and I went and saw it twice a week for all 17 weeks. Mondays and Saturdays. "Death by stereo" is one of my favorite lines. The soundtrack is top notch.

Aw yeah, go you! and your friend. LB had lots o' dark vibes and sexy stuff - you beat my Star Wars: A New Hope record in '77, 24 times that first release summer ... our family saw it at a 9:30 a.m. Sunday showing because it was so popular the theater put on extra showings. Then I went alone to see it the next day, and whenever somebody'd say they hadn't seen it yet, I'd say "I'll go with you!!" from its opening about May 19 to sometime in September. Happy times ... :)

It's great indeed - this one and American Werewolf in London really opened up horror themes!
