There seems to be little information online about the film, although the Wikipedia entry for U44 indicates she was rammed by the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Oracle and sunk, not by a US Navy capital ship as shown in the poster (the US ship there has several large gun batteries so is a cruiser or battleship but not USS Wisconsin (BB-9) as the Wisconsin never served in battle in WW1).
