YAY CHESSIE! That sweet cat is so historical, particularly when we met the entire family during WW II ads.
Blue-black Parker Quink ink is STILL my favorite business ink. If only it still came in those art-deco bottles :-/
I'm so glad I bought lotsa quality stationery in the 70s, it's hard to find anything with quality paper that takes the ink properly. I used to write really nice letters to friends, now it's all e-mail, so it's uncertain I'll ever use up all those lovely cards, notes and envelopes :-/
because i'm trying very hard to get back into letter writing...and finding stationery that is not a note card is nearly impossible to do. oh, note cards are fine when you don't have much to say, but when you *do*?
you have a card. or if you're very lucky, you can find a set with one sheet of paper allowed to each envelope. bah, humbug!!
(and i WISH my fountain pens would fill themselves!! LOL)
