I'm not sure, but I think these were all done by Norman Rockwell...so at least he could make a living, a very good one!

Yeah, he did a LOT of Post covers. But there are some other artists in there too. It was the Golden Age of Illustration.

Technically that world never existed. It was a romanticized and filtered representation at best.

I propose that this world really did exist. It's only lazy, self-hating, unpatriotic segments of contemporary society that would like to believe it never did. It's all part of the strategy these people use to improve their own self-image and justify their flawed beliefs.
