Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance is a surprisingly tough sell franklanguage November 29 2014, 04:22:33 UTC
A long time ago-like over 25 years ago-I took a telemarketing job out of desperation, and one product I had to hawk the first night was Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance.

I lasted three nights at this job; it was incredibly stressful, but people were pretty resistant to buying AD&D insurance, as it was called. I personally don't understand why you'd want or need it if you had ample coverage elsewhere, but maybe if you're traveling you want to hedge your bets-and for only $3 a trip. $3 a trip in present-day dollars is probably closer to $15 now, however.
