Canned fruit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner: for those who want to lose weight and keep their type II diabetes. At least you get a little protein at lunch with the cottage cheese.
i am not old enough to remember the artificially sweetened canned fruit with cyclamates (Sucaryl), but I can tell that the version with saccharine was a foul, bitter, noxious mess. Diabetic grandma loved to share, though.
