Found this when looking up something inspired by the earlier women's suffrage ad.

So women couldn't vote in Switzerland until 1971? Wtf? I thought you got the date wrong so I looked it up.

1971?? Amazing!

On the other hand women could vote in Australia by 1894, but Indiginous people didn't get the vote until the late 1960's.

I guess this is why there was no Good Cat, Carl?

Seriously, my cat girl loves my toddler boy, and it's been that way since she met him. If I didn't worry about him being too rough with her (she won't even hiss at the kid, or avoid too-tight hugs), and she could make quesadillas, I'd totally let her babysit while I got all liberated.

This looks almost like a parody. Maybe the artist was secretly a liberal?

So Swiss women got the vote in 1971? Hey, that's only 8 years after Afghanistan and Iran. Very progressive there, Switzerland!

I would have also given this a WTF tag because I can't quite figure it out. When she came back from voting, a cat jumped in the window, it startled her and she dropped her baby? Well, couldn't that have happened anyway? Shouldn't the point be to keep your windows shut?

Anyone else have "Cat's in the Cradle" stuck in their head now?

I wonder if other countries had the same superstition that many in the US had - that you couldn't have a cat in the house with a baby because the cat would lie down on the baby's face and suffocate it.

But it's not a very efficient way of smothering a baby to knock it out of the crib first. Maybe Swiss cats employed falling injuries for their baby-murderin', while American cats were more likely to go with asphyxiation.
