They were all rather nasty and poor imitations but the German dinner introduced me to spatzle which I love and now make from scratch. So, small blessings.

None of these are especially appetizing, but that "Chinese Style Dinner" looks absolutely revolting. :-x

Yes, the Chinese one WAS the worst. I think it was this "international" range that began the downfall of the classic TV Dinner. I still remember the old Turkey and Stuffing one. The mashed potato had a REAL pat of butter on it. THAT one was great!

WELL, I'll give them credit for TRYING.. its not too often you see a frozen dinner like this. I wonder if the reason this failed is that people want more "american" food than this.

Surprising to see the most revolting looking is the Italian one. That Lasagna looks like a relief map.
