Chocolate cake is overrated :) I always ask my mom to bake a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for my birthday, and she always does :D

I don't like either of these people or their dishonest relationship. They don't deserve cake.

What could possibly be in the mix that will save time? Chocolate buttercream only requires butter, a little milk, powdered sugar and cocoa - maybe a little vanilla if you want to get fancy. No cooking. It's easy and delicious.

I remember those boxed frosting mixes! They also ran ads about how you could make candy from them--I always wanted to try making the candy when I was a kid. The ads always showed the frosting mix box looking like a candy box, with the pieces of candy in little white fluted cups; at least the ads I remember. I wonder if the candy would look as good to me now as it did when I was a kid?

Me too! Do remember how they had what looked like green and pink mints--and some kind of layered stuff? And fudge, of course?

My mind kind of goes ^@$*^*&(*@!! at the thought of the pink and green candy now, though it might be very good. The chocolate fudge is sort of a no-brainer. I think the layered stuff was penuche, maybe?
