Okay, so Anya did kind of weird him out, but she was nice enough and apparently not evil. She kind of grew on him after a while despite her occasional complaints regarding his financial planning and hair.

"What? It's not like it's my fault you pissed a woman off enough to make her wish that you'd die of syphilis," Anya shot back.

"It took me two years to die!" Duncan yelled.

"Oh stop whining and just be happy I didn't make it so you kept dying of syphilis."

HAH!

As the guest stood and prepared to move inside, Anya ran back over.

"Remember, this isn't an open bar, so don't go crazy and pay for you own booze!"

Oh, Ahn. . . .

Whatever you're smoking, I want some!

I had a lot of fun writing this; Anya is pretty unapologetic about who she is, so it's fun to throw her in with unsuspecting folk.
