I kind of wanted to but it was awfully icey..
that reminds me, we have to go to the beach again this year and get lots of people, 'cause that was one of the best times I had last summer (minus the sunburn).

Not to be rude but maybe she doesn't want to talk to you...
Usually when people say nothing happened they don't feel like talking about it and she didn't return your call. To me it certainly seems like she doesn't want to talk to you.
