Trailer for Sky movie of Terry Pratchett's 'Going Postal'

I think I'm going to like this one more than 'The Colour of Magic' - which is not saying much. I wish, if we can't have Stephen Briggs as Vetinari, they would at least settle on one actor.

I was so disappointed with the casting for Colour of Magic, I've never bothered to see it.

This looks good. Adora Belle is sort of my Mary Sue counterpart in the Discworld. :D

That is precisely what I said about the CoM movie. I did record it on my DVR when it was on U.S. television, and eventually watched it. I wasn't able to get past the casting enough to enjoy it.

I didn't even know it made it to US TV! Rincewind is NOT supposed to be old and dumpy, dammit! He's supposed to be 30-ish and scrawny.

Adora looks perfect here, though, and Moist looks alright. WTF with Vet being blond, though? :/

This was not my favorite book by any stretch, but the movie looks just great and I'm looking forward to it.
