Some of my students though that a star party was a place where Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson would show up. They were disappointed to learn it was a place to set up telescopes and observe stars and planets

Mike said he was scared s*less the first time he saw the Milky way in the CA desert-he'd never heard of it. Too much light pollution on this island-if it isn't cloudy, anyway.
