It all sounds terribly complicated to me, though I can appreciate that suddenly having 2m less than you hoped isn't exactly ideal. Hope it all does to plan. It would be interesting a see a photo of the finished item.

Yes, it's a bother, but it isn't complicated, really. And I'll remember to take a photo once it's finished.
